Just-in-Time Box Builds with Lower Order Minimums
This customer was using an overseas contract manufacturer for a turnkey box. Long lead times and large minimum order quantities of 25,000 or more slowed production and increased costs. The overseas sourced panel did not function as the customer desired, either.
CO-AX developed a prototype panel that performed precisely as required at a 60% lower cost. Lead times went to just-in-time, and the customer was able to order in flexible quantities.
Fixing DFM Issues for Aircraft Electrical Converters
This customer needed to transfer multiple legacy PCBAs to a new contract manufacturing service due to design and parts availability issues with their current supplier.
CO-AX implemented its proven Customer Onboarding Process to make the switch easier. We identified several parts obsolescence issues, re-designed the product for manufacturability, and revised the customer’s documentation. We also built duplicate functional test fixtures.
